Nigel Richardson has been with Custom since its formation in 1979. He now serves as Chairman of Custom Pharmaceuticals and CEO of Custom Healthcare Limited, the holding entity.
Initially trained as a Chartered Surveyor and having worked in the pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and development sector for over 43 years he has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with the new CEO and Senior Leadership Team at Custom.
Nigel served as CEO of Custom from 1983 until 2022. Nigel’s has long held a vision for the business to become a respected first choice partner for outsourcing of formulation development and commercial manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
In 2023 the business is investing in a new phase of expansion with the construction of specialist state-of-the-art facilities for contained manufacture of highly potent and poorly soluble drug products.
